Why he chose the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities: "I chose the University of Minnesota because it has a strong curriculum in the biological sciences and I loved the feel of campus in the metropolitan environment. As soon as I visited the U of M, I knew this was the University that could provide me with anything I wanted to do! I encourage you to visit campus so you can see what the U of M has to offer, from Big 10 sports and hundreds of student organizations to world-class professors and great research opportunities."

Favorite University of Minnesota class: "Immunology. I really enjoyed this class because the course material covered topics from autoimmunity to immunodeficiency. The professor was exceptional and he applied class topics to current events like H1N1 influenza. Overall, the class was challenging, extremely fascinating, and rewarding!"

Favorite University Trip: "Students Today Leaders Forever 'Pay It Forward Tour.' This was an amazing trip where I volunteered for ten days with a bus full of students on a cross-country trip over spring break. Every day we visited a different city ranging from Gary, Indiana, to Memphis, Tennessee. It was a very rewarding experience and I built long lasting friendships with everyone on the bus. Students Today Leaders Forever is one of the many great programs offered at the U so I urge students to get involved early!"
